The Bassmasters of Houston was established in December 2011 by a group of anglers with the common interest of fun, fellowship and competive bass fishing. We pride ourselves with welcoming everyone.

How do I join the club?

contact one of the listed officers or simply show up the morning of the event(non-boaters should call ahead)


What are the club dues?

50.00 per year, this covers the club dues as well as the TABC dues(20.00)


What lakes do you fish?

We fish mostly local lakes with 1-2 lakes a year being "travel" lakes, these events are normally multiple day tournaments.

(Conroe, Livingston, Coleto Creek, Somerville, Sam Rayburn, Fayette, Lake Austin, Bastrop, Toledo Bend, Houston County Lake)


What are the entry fees?

1 day tournaments are  $50.00 ($25.00 to the team tournament prize, $10.00 to the individual big bag payout, $5.00 to the big bass, $10.00 to the end       of the year classic fund)

2 day tournaments are  $60.00 ($30.00 goes to the team tournament prize, $15.00 to the individual single big bag payout, $5.00 to the big bass pot and     $10.00 to the end of the year Classic)


Do I have to have a boat?

No, non-boaters are welcome we will work to find you a fishing partner(please call ahead to make arrangements).


Can I fish as a guest?

Yes, we allow anglers to fish 1 tournament as a guest before requiring them to join.
