BassMasters of Houston fished the 1st tournament of the year at Lake Bastrop. This was a team tournament in conjunction with the Waller County Bass Club. We had 3 boats from both clubs. The fishing was tough as the water temperature dropped during the week from 64 - 68 to 57 - 60. We also had a cold front with high winds. But as usual someone will find the fish. The team of Derrick Hall and Charles Suh from Waller County took 1st place with 5 fish =16.65lbs. and a big bass for 4.13. Second place went to WCBC members Frank and Danny with 10.4lbs. BassMasters, W. J. and new member Brad Lanier bought in 5 for 10.37lbs. for 3rd place.
